What Am I doing?
I’ve been M.I.A. for a few weeks, and finally got back into the swing of things this week. I got back from vacation on Monday, and spent the next few days catching up on emails and all the other junk that piled up while we were gone. Michelle and I spent a few days in Orlando on credit card points, and were able to have a true vacation, including relaxing and putting away technology for a few days. And though I hate cable with a passion, we did visit our favorite vacation pastime of watching hours of HGTV in the hotel room. What a great getaway
Earlier this week, I start my Credit Card Review series with the Chase Ink Bold and Ink Plus review, which happened to be during small business week. Yesterday, I signed up for the sweet bonus of 60,000 points before the deal went back down to 50k. I got a “pending review”, so I called the “reconsideration line” to get my review expedited. They’re closed on weekends, so I’ll be calling back on Monday to ensure I get my card approved, and start working toward the minimum spend to get my $1,000 worth of travel points
This weekend was fun, as we got some great weather on Saturday, and got to make use of our backyard patio that Michelle installed. We invited some friends over for a great meal, and enjoyed the fresh air. Here’s an “arty” pic I took of the setup (sorry if it gives you vertigo).
