  As I was writing my post about income for the Ultimate Budget Series, I started to think about why people need more and more income to "just get by". There seems to be a common agreement among those who are struggling with money that their problems would be solved with just a little (or a lot) more money. Dollar by dollar, I managed to unload over $100,000 in less than three years. I am pretty sure I kept a few retailers in business and helped pay for a few mall fast food employees' college tuition with the way I blew through my cash.
